Any one seen 747 Singapore airlines scale model (cut away)

Post by bbabc.arun » Tue, 05 Nov 2013 2:03 pm

I am looking for a 747 Singapore airlines scale model (cut away) and its a 14 footer refer photograph attached. It was last seen at Science center in 2000 and moved out after the aviation exhibition revamped in SC. If some one has seen this anywhere in Singapore now, can you please inform me.

Hahaha! That's so cool. Now I know what I want for Christmas.

Or maybe I'll go for a Concorde instead...

Yeah, I got stuck in that area for about 30 or 40 minutes this evening. Germans seem to be big for large scale remotes. Damn nice! but could cause severe heart attacks here if you tried to fly one.

one is in the osaka museum of modern transportation. i have a few pictures and will attach it soon.

edit: i believe the one there is a -400 model as i recall it has winglets... so it might not be the older model you're looking for.

The older one doesn't have winglets and also only has one division of the viewing pane while the osaka model has two. Definitely different. Also, the osaka model doesn't have any nose landing gear deployed.
