Floor Standing Speakers

I am looking to buy 2 floor standing speakers as we love stereo sound. where can i find a pair of good second hand ones?

Yes, I quite understand. People these days, in the era of 'compact-everything', often have no sense of what decent audio can be like.

Two suggestions:
The hi-fi hub (proper hi-fi not generic plastic tat), seems to be a mall called Burlington Arcade, by Bencoolen/Albert Street

Try the Adelphi centre on Coleman Street / Northbridge road (almost oppositie Funan) - it's a mecca for audiophiles with about 50 stores, most with demo rooms, covering pretty much all of the main speaker brands such as B&W, dynaudio, polk, mcintosh, deftech etc.

Prices can be a little on the high side, but you can haggle for a decent discount.
