The question is ......... where can I find them in Singapore?

I have been in Self Fix and Home Fix in Tampines ... nothing doing.

Legendary DIY store in the UK, with next day delivery. And yes they send stuff abroad.

Maybe use the above as a reference point to home in on precisely what you need, and a benchmark cost.

For the more prosaic and less urgent, I suggest 'Handyman Centre'. https://www.facebook.com/HandymanCentre

They have a wide stock, and I like their attitude, helpful, and they know their products, and they offered me to order in anything I might want that they did not hold in stock.

Formerly Homely Hardware, now Masterpro. Will walk downstairs at lunch time to see if they have them here in our building "Enterprise Hub" on Toh Guan Road East. They are also out in Ubi as well.

Turned out the place nearby was the wholesaler :o

Really should have looked at the website, my colleagues not enjoyed the walk in the blazing sun to get there.

It didnt go to waste as one of the advantages of working in Ubi is there are tons of little shops selling stuff, luckily just nearby the wholesaler was a shop selling what I needed. $5 a pack ...... cheaper than the online one I saw so happy days...

Sadly for the uncle I needed a receipt so transaction will have to go through the till

I've spent considerable amount of time on Ubi Aves 1 & 2 with all their shops. I used to buy perspex & exotic wood veneers for my many wood projects when I lived in Seletar Camp and had a big workshop.

If I was in anyway DIY inclined I would.be all.over Ubi.
however I am not sure what kind of opening hours they have.
Am guessing weekends and after 5pm are.out.
