Can anyone recommend a good one that's easy to use and preferably free
If i have to pay, so be it, but would be good to get some advice.
Cheers

Try avidemux, if it works for you. Not the easiest to use, but free.

OK. Will give that a try.
Also, to add. There were a few other supposedlt free ones but only with limited features unless you buy the whole package

Googled and got this:

I've seen this already. Most of the ones i tried were as i mentioned earlier; limited functionality until you pay for the full version. Some of these i didn't find that great, but maybe it was just because i was using the trial version.
I don't mind paying, but i don't want something crap, hence asking what people here recommends. But then if someone has a good free one, i'll gladly take that.

for simple videos, Microsoft Movie maker does a good job .. just make sure you are on 64 Bit OS and 4 GB or more RAM, for faster churning of the video ..

Adobe Premier is the one I hear recommended by my semi-pro casual friends that refuse to use a Mac.
Free trials on their site, and probably pretty simple to get a keygen or crack. Not that I normally endorse illegal activity, but Adobe was criminally negligent with their customer's data this past month so f-ck them.

Yup Windows Movie Maker by Microsoft is good enough.

I see most Instagrammers have standard photo lighting/ color saturation for their photos on instagram. What apps do they use? Would it be Lightroom...

I Googled it after hearing it and see that it is quite a good app.
I initially thought is spam and getting ready for action . 😬
