Leaving SG Before getting Notification letter (E Pass)

Post by danny88 » Thu, 07 Nov 2013 9:27 pm

Hi I entered Singapore with the White Disembarkation card in which I've sent(scanned copy) to my employer for processing the notification letter which I will only receive next week.

My question is, can I leave Singapore while surrendering the current disembarkation card and return to Singapore with a different White card when the notification letter is ready ?

You cannot leave without the embarkation card.

oh I've made a mistake in typing the question.
The embarkation card is still with me.
What I sent to my company is the Scanned Copy to submit on EP Online.

What I would like to know is will this cause any complication if I leave Singapore before getting the notification letter.

It shouldn't. But, personally? I always try to err on the side of caution. :-|

and in this current tightened climate, better stay put till you get the notification .. though for EP there is no such restriction on movement while Pass is being processed :)

Is it still pending as of today? When will you be leaving? My boyfriends EP was approved in principle but then we decided to go to Malaysia last minute for a weekend. All he had to do was bring the IPA (his white card had already been taken by MOM), and it was fine.

I wouldn't advise trying to leave halfway through the application, I heard of someone who was quizzed heavily and it caused lots of problems. Just stay put, lots of time for traveling once you're working here :)
