Am going to Marry, SG citizen need help

That might be a better way of punctuating it. With the English and thought processes espoused by the OP, some poor SG citizen is really going to need help!

OP has asked the forumers to excuse him for his usage of English language. I thin we should respect his open declaration :o

aren't 'we' more English than the "ENGLISH" ?

Oh wait, the OP too is from a COLONY .. then how ah ??

PS: that More English than the English was a comment from a RAF officer who had hosted some Indians, and had been amazed by how Ceremonial the IAF officers were, even in an informal dinner at the RAF officer's house ...

I don't know why I giggled when I read the thread title...

Am going to Marry SG citizen need help.

I know that several regular posters here have very sucessful marriages to SCs, so I'm not suggesting anything (especially since we're in the 'Strictly Speaking' section).
I'm in such a marriage and yet I laughed so hard at the possible meanings for this title that I began to tear up. :D

We can't help you marry a SC, you will have to do it yourself.

This is what is known as a lot lot and lot of '''complete rollocks'''.

On the LTVP application form, simply tick the 'Plus' (aka: Right-To-Work) box.

Then you're on an LTVP, and have a right to work.

so if anybody ticks PLUS, ica will give PLUS ?? :)

and did you miss the part where ICA says you should be married for 3 years to be considered for LTVP + ?

No [sigh].

But your statement that you cannot work on an LTVP, is incorrect.

His statement is not incorrect. You cannot work on an LTVP. You CAN work on an LTVP+ (Using the Letter of Consent). There is a big difference.
