MOM to require firms to advertise jobs to locals first

New Manpower Ministry rules require companies to list openings for jobs paying less than S$12,000 a month before hiring foreigners
mail. Source from news media.

This might just make some people happy but unless they have some strict governance and enforcement like the UK government is doing at the moment it is not going to help much
