We often give our daughter bottle milk or a biscuit on the MRT am I likely to run into problems at some point?

An SMRT official was quoted once that if you have to urgently take medicine (you know, the type where you have to drink some water to take), you have to do it off the train, off the platform......

I think no nationality or ethnicity should act all high and mighty about this topic. I have seen all kinds of people eat and drink on the train, including locals.

If they want to have nobody eat or drink on the train or bus, they should actually enforce that rule, not just post it.

+1. Also I notice it is the locals who take up the reserved seats even if they see elderly people standing and then they just pretend to sleep on the reserved seats.

Its is the FTs that are most likely to give up their seats for the elderly.

My 14 year old daughter was fined for being on the platform with a drink with a straw in it. She was not drinking it, it was soybean and came with the straw in it. And it was a hefty fine for a 14 year old!
