Serviced apartment with at least 3 bedrooms ?

Post by highwaynation » Tue, 09 Jul 2013 12:03 am

Hi :D,

I would be grateful for any help with the following, this summer we are moving to Singapore from The Netherlands. The first week we are staying in a hotel, but between finding and moving into an apartment we would like to stay in a Serviced Apartment.
Our reservation at Great World City has been cancelled because someone extended their stay, so now we don't have anything....
Here comes the problem, I don't seem to be able to find a nice, modern serviced flat with 3 bedrooms, near a MRT station and with both a pool and a gym.
Any suggestion or help would be great, thanks!

Greetings,

It is out east but we stayed at the Lotus at Joo Chiat when we first arrived. pool and gym but it's a little remote, I think an MRT might be a 15 minute walk.

Not an endorsement!

We're moving this Wednesday and we're staying at Fraser Suites off River Valley Road.
We toured there a month ago and were really impressed. Awesome place to stay with children because of the extra facilities they have, and it was very clean and modern.
They have 3 bedroom.

However since we haven't stayed there yet, I can't tell you if they are actually good or not.[/b]

Park Avenue at Rochester is near Buona Vista MRT station, has swimming pool and gym and it has suites. Looks very good.

Not an endorsement either. I happen to live near that place.

Thank you all for the input :-).
A lot of Serviced Apartments were already fully booked :-| . Apparently it is high season, and a lot of people are relocating...

I finally received a positive response from a Serviced Apartment complex. We will be staying a little longer in a hotel and then go to 8 on Claymore for a month.

So ive been at Fraser suites for half a day and so far the recommendation is go somewhere else.
Very disappointing so far.

I guess working AC, clean sheets and hot water is not included for $500 a day.

That does sound terrible!!! :o
Here no complaints so far. They even have a free flow of nespresso coffee (which remainds me of home)

Follow up:

The rest of the stay at Fraser wasn't much better.

I wrote a review on TripAdvisor and blasted them. Truthfully.
A manager called and offered me a partial refund.
So I'm happier at least. I still wouldn't recommend them.
