OK to bring ibuprofen, hayfever tablets and coffee beans?

Post by florianjones » Mon, 10 Jun 2013 5:01 pm

Hi,

I'm trying to find a more specific list if items that i can or can not bring with me to Singapore when i move in a few weeks from UK. I have the usual list of banned items like plants, drugs, weapons etc.. but some books also mention food items and over the counter medication that i can freely buy in the UK.

The things I'm most curious about is bring some boxes of ibuprofen and hayfever tablets with me and shipping over some bags of coffee beans.

Does anyone thing there will be any problems with taking these items with me ?

thanks
flo

I have brought in as many as 3000 ibuprofen tablets in my luggage without incident.

What type of hayfever tablets? Over the counter, prescription?

I think www.ica.gov.sg of what is and is not allowed, but haven't time to dig around right now.

We just moved over recently and brought:
Pseudoephedrine sulfate ('Clarinase')
Loratadine
Acetylcystein

Holy cow! And I get nervous at bringing over just a bottle of 100 for my wife!
