Nursery furniture

I'm expecting a little one for November and I have just started looking at cot/cot bed/mattresses etc
Everything in shops seems so much more expensive than in the UK, is there a forum where expat leaving Singapore sell out their nursery furniture?
Or any other advise on where to get the best deals?

The best place is gumtree. Otherwise 'expat auctions' but they do not often have baby stuff. Or the old standby...Ikea!
