With my son just finishing his NS, I don't think so, mate. But enjoy the Friday night!

Update my status, Yesterday my PR application status changed from pending to rejected, applied 6 months before. I think ICA is rejecting all pending application in one shot this month.

Two of my colleagues just recently got their PRs approved. Both of subcontinental ethnicity. These folks applied around the same time I did.
Like wd40 I am also working on plan B now.

I think you need to appeal within 6 months. Beyond that your file will be closed. Its also only upto 6 months you can see your status on ienquiry after that it will say no record found. Log into IEnquiry and see if you can see your status, if yes you can appeal. If no, it will need to be a new application.
I would say, if its 2 years past since the time you applied and your salary/role has changed its worth applying again/appealing. Afterall, you have nothing to lose right? Except for the paperwork.

I think you should give it a shot early next year. It will close to 2 years since you applied right? Your change of industry and the fact that you have completed 2 more years here, should be worthy enough to apply again.
Like I said you have nothing to lose, atleast you are persevering. I know of cases where people have been approved on the 3rd or 4th attempt.
I am going to see whether I get a hike at the end of this year. If I do, I will probably apply again around March next year, otherwise no.

So I've booked an appointment for application on 4th June 2014
My 1st PR application was on 10th July 2012 and that was rejected after 10 months. Maybe I jumped the gun a bit there as it's not two years between the applications.
Sadly about a hike, my HOD was not encouraging so my salary remains the same as when I had applied two years ago, albeit in a vastly larger public listed company.
Upside though is my wife will be starting a job under LoC, the two older girls are well settled in primary school (and scoring highly, I can proudly add), and
we decided that it was time to liquidate some assets in India and buy a nice resale EC here. The ABSD cost me ~190k though :'(-HH-
Wow! I assume the EC is already 10 years old and hence considered as equivalent to
condo, isnt it? Its a bad time to liquidate assets in India now considering the exchange rate, I can feel your pain. On the positive side, since you already bought the
property by paying ABSD, you wont be looked upon as a PR abuser.

Wd40; you said "I think you need to appeal within 6 months. Beyond that your file will be closed."
(I agree with your statement & have 1 question)
Scenario:
LTVP was taken by MOM when they issued S-Pass in early 2011.
Applied PR in Jan 2013 got rejected > PR Rejection recored was removed right after 6 months on iEnquiry.
But LTVP still in iEnquery showing that LTVP Withdrawn in Feb 2011.
Any idea when it will be removed from iEnquiry?
Many thanks.
