Hey eviloz, Im in a similar situation where I had to retrieve a detailed medical report for a childhood surgery that I have declared. I have managed to retrieve and submit it to the clinic since. For now, I have not received any rejection letter. May I knw if you have any updates on ur situation? Did the clinic/ SIA accept your explanation and appeal? TIA

I hope you understand what I mean.
For me, I told myself previously that if I didn't get the job due to medical reason, at least I know I could have made the cut cos I did pass all rounds of interview after all. Medical is something that you cannot help or change, and it doesn't mean you weren't good enough to join. There may be somewhere else better for you instead. After all, you don't want to risk your health for a job right? It'll not be worth it, trust me on this.

hi eviloz, did they really say the outcome will be the same no matter how many walk-in you go for? meaning its a permanent ban and they will not accept those who failed medicals at subsequent walk-in interviews anymore?eviloz wrote:

Then around half an hour later, the HR lady, Mary, called me to come back and said that they are reviewing my case. I went back and she told me to maintain my weight and if possible, drop to 50kg and below. I then hand in my documents and happily sign some forms and got the letter to go for medical check up.
Just went around 3 days ago and had to pay $173 for a 2nd xray(probably due to my spine). So scared that I have scoliosis
So I guess the other lady did not want to pass me because my bottom half is slightly big but the lady who checked me saw how much effort I put in and how much my weight dropped(and she was the same lady who did the 1-1 interview).
So beware of this fierce lady with short hair/quite tall. To others/to yourself you might seem okay, but to her, I guess her expectations are quite high? Or probably because I was put into a group with lots of skinny girls. So.
Anyway, good luck all and dreams do come true. Just have a little faith and work towards it!!
Hello, thank you for sharing but 50kg? Wooot? May I know how much is your height? I'm 170 something and there is no way I can reach that good ol' 50 without being malnourished.
