I thought this article was interesting (and the comments):

6.9 Million People and An Emotional Hump

Also interesting was that it was republished on a BCL-linked website.

p.s. x9200, sorry - I completely forgot to buy you that beer last night. I will next time, I promise. :)

Thanks for that link. Interesting chap that blogger. I was struck by how well he writes (I finished a few articles before, with much anticipation, looking up where he was educated: No huge surprise to see he studied 'PPE'* at Oxford, a 'training camp' for wannabe politicians)

And he's not just a one-trick pony either. He is against the population white paper (in it's current form), but argues for ministerial pay. Worth keeping an eye on him I think... <bookmarks>.

Not me, I don't even know what that means.

Google on 'bulldog chewing wasp' and you'll get a good picture.

It's basically some bitter, seriously angry, chick with her face screwed up in fury, hate and derision.

Wow, an article with sensible comments (haven't read all yet). As JR also noticed.

Here's another article; unfortunately this time with the usual bigoted and racist comments...

is that the same as "Prawn"?

prawn

To describe a chik that has a mad body, but a bad face.
it comes from when you eat a prawn, you eat the body and throw away the head.... (australian)
person 1: man, did u end up hookin up with that chik?
person 2: yeah, but she was a bit of a prawn tho
