Guys, give poor sachin a break. His language barrier is already in sorry state. At least he's got the answers he should hear

That Red Fort info sounds interesting though. Too bad my efforts in Googling it didn't yield any result :P

well, about the Chola temples, that you must clap before leaving is - like a myth - that you declare that by clapping your hand, you are not walking away with temple property ..

After all, those days, temples were super rich and all the temples were under the direct care of the kings, who provided for the care of the temples ..

OK, I apologise to our friend Sachin if I misunderstood his motives. Being a namesake of one of the greatest batsmen of all time, he can't be all bad. Perhaps if he's still visiting this forum he could give us a straightforward statement on what he actually wants to achieve, then we can make a judgement and help further if appropriate.

I guess I ought to also apologise for attempting to introduce some frivolity in the Strictly Speaking section. As I mentioned elsewhere, I do tend to shoot from the hip and sometimes this can cause unintended offence or consequences.
Be careful what you wish for

Given he has declined to make his motives clear and just pumps out more and more questions from himself and his 'friend', I think he has been given more help than he should have expected to be forthcoming.

Eventually amongst the blizzard of questions, you just lose a sense of what it is that the subject is trying to achieve, and hence there is little or no point in continuing to help without some basic clarification from their side.

And when that is not forthcoming, I think one is free to draw one's own conclusions.
