Need Help To Check King Size Bed Model & Price

Post by jimm_oliver » Thu, 24 Jan 2013 7:12 pm

Hey guys,

I just moved to Singapore. I found a king size bed selling online.

I love this bed and it's going out for $890. The seller said he bought at $3k.

Can anyone tell me from the pix below, what brand's this bed? If it's worth to buy?

Thanks.

JR8, it's not moldy that I can see. What you are looking at is the design on the boxspring cover. Looks like it's ivory & beign/gold design as it's a consistent pattern. I've never seen mold be consistent.

But I have to wonder as to his intentions, especially seeing neither his nick nor his email turns up anything in Google. Throwaway addy but with a local ISP. He hasn't run up enough posts to reply to PM's and hasn't posted a flurry of useless posts, so he may well be legitimate.

Having said that, Jimm, if you are coming from a western country (or at least the US anyway), and you are bringing your own linen, beware that king sized beds in Asia are shorter that those at home by around 6 inches. So if you are 6'4" tall you might be in for a rude awakening.

Hmmmm... I think you're right, it is maybe just a 'mold-like design' ;;

You're right on the extra-long beds. I believe I had one in the US, and brought it back to the UK afterwards. Quite a pain as you cannot get the bed-linen outside of the US.

I've seen that bed or one somewhat like it on the 2nd floor of Park Mall a few months ago.
