Who works weekends!?

Post by Tsilivi » Mon, 07 Jan 2013 5:47 pm

Am I the only person in Singapore that works Saturday/Sundays?

It's pretty hard maintaining friendships when you're tucked up in bed at weekends and your pals are partying.

British girl looking to make new friends. 2nd year here and friends are slowly leaving Singapore.

Don't be shy now. :)

Hey,
I'm normally over in the "20's club thread" but I just saw this and thought i'd empathise ! I also work weekends (on a shift pattern so my schedule changes every week). Im British and 22. Does this mean you get some week days off? I am always looking stuff to do and for people to explore with, so let me know if you want to meet up :)

Oh, if only. I work another 2-10 hours a day when the office is closed as well. I'm at 51.5 hours so far this week :(

Wrong attititude.

You should be doing Tao bo punches at the screen.... yeah yeah, yeah yeah YEAH!

80 hours Yeah, watch me, YEAh bring it on!

p.s. If you aren't, and aren't being rewarded, it sounds like you're in the wrong job.

For the longest time for some reason I don't know, I thought you were Indonesian.

You really need to go out more.

Very sage, but I probably will never again be at the point where I embrace overtime. I like my job very much but it just can't replace time spent doing other things like it did 10 years ago.

I work weekends! I have Mon/Tues off. Sounds like we may be doing a similar gig.

I've been in Singers since Sept, but kind of been focussing on getting to grips with my new job and finding somewhere to live. Now I'm ready to get out and about, explore the area, do some touristy things and meet new people for coffee/walks/cinema/drinks etc!

Get in touch if you want to meet up soon!

Friendship isn't about whom you've known longest.

It's about who came and never left your side
