MY Chinese race citizen, female of child bearing age but not married (< 30 so had a few years to mate and breed sons left in her ). Holds a degree in Petroleum Engineering. Earns 3.5k per month. She applied in July - PR granted 30th Dec.

Well....
Yes I understand your point (I read The Lands of Charm and Cruelty, before ever moving to Asia). My girlfriend had been in the government funded 'dating club'. The SDU.
But even then I think you have to admit that SG is an oasis of stability amongst a region of kleptocratic basket case nonsense.
It ain't perfect, but look at the others before you pass judgement.
It's bottom up. A nation is made from it's people, and not vice versa..... etc

Funny. I was trying to remember the name of that government unit (does it still exist?).
You know the Eugenics Division.
Then it came to me. SDU.
We used to refer to it as 'Sad Desperate and Ugly'.

She's passable. Probably a virgin. She's desperately trying to find dates but most of the local fellows here are pretty picky (and they can be with the unbalanced ratios).
