Yeah, all I need thanks.

Besides haven't you noticed how the topic has been discussed on and off for about 2 years now, by people going down this avenue, and you're the first to claim it is not possible. If it simply were not possible don't you think it might have been pointed out before?

Do you work for this so called " guided democracy" ?

I don't see the relevance, you're apparently just pretty bent out of shape...

It's like that time when someone accused the moderators of working for/being members of the PAP. Can you just imagine SMS? PAP?

Sure. Why not? I've already been a member of the Resident's committee for 4 years.

I thought he was! :-D

In fact I seem to recall winding him up one time by accusing him of being 'a cog in the machine'.

To me if the first thing a person can say to an audience is what their sexuality is, it is immature, vulgar, and not far separated from thrusting your genitalia into my face.

Frankly I don't care what you are. And such people's fixation with spelling it out is... as above!

I am a man that partly lives in Singapore with my partner who is a man and my partner works here full time where as i travel with my work as a writer so i am constantly flying in and out of SG and as iam british i get a 90 days tourist visa everytime i arrive into SG.

I cannot give you any advise regarding a partners visa as i have not tried to get one however if i was to try i would visit my embassy and see what information they can give as it will be legal true information and not speculation.

There is a small gay culture here in SG and as many on here have commented its not big neither is it open it is subtle and sufficient and it does not need to be anything more than what it is really, there are places you can go and socialise which is very mixed and realxed or you can go to the "gay" venues which are exactly the same as anywhere else in the world (ie: full of hissing and squealing, staring with a hint of lurid) if this is your ideal area then these places are advertised on www.utopia-asia.com.

I hope that you and your partner settle into SG well and enjoy yourself as SG is a beautiful place with beautiful people who are very well mannered and polite also they are very easy people to get along with and if you want to chat then please leave a message and we could go for coffee (Totally Platonic).

Just a note to anyone who states "They Love Gays" we are not just for christmas :D

Take Care x

Quite by coincidence here is some Facebooking from this pm that makes a connection between gayness and plastic surgery. The other party is a gay SGn male friend (married and resident in Europe).

This was discussing some trashy article my wife posted re: Kim Kardashian having lazer skin treatments...

---------------------------
me: ‎'... but it seems even she can't afford to fix being stumpy and having an ar$e as wide as a bus ;)'

Friend: 'I did the erbium lazer treatment but make sure you find a good plastic surgeon. The one I had screwed up my face. And now instead of a better complexion it looks like I have skin discolouration and pimple scarring. [My name] some men actually appreciate an arse wide as a bus.'

me: 'Never understood why any man would lust after a fat ar$e, but then again I'm not black hehehe. In my opinion almost all plastic surgery eventually fails (looks worse than what it was meant to improve on), it is just a question of time, weeks, decades...'

Friend: ' It eventually fails, yes. But it's the initial result that makes it attractive. Remember you're dealing with shallow people obsessed with their looks - me included of course :-)'

Looking for same information

Post by rabete1 » Thu, 27 Sep 2012 3:42 pm

Hey Frenchy Asia,

Did you ever find any solution to your problem? I also am relocating to Singapore and want to bring my partner as a dependent (or at minimum get LTVP).

I see you had a few months to try to work this out and would apreciate any help you can provide on what has and has not worked.

Please PM me if you get the chance.

Thanks!
Thomas (rabete1)

Post by Brnewbie » Sun, 11 Nov 2012 3:25 am

Hi,

I know this is an old topic, but I would like to know how you handled with that. I will go to Singapore on the same situation as your boyfriend.
