Because Singapore pays based on where you're from, not what you're capable of. It was never been fair, not just to the PRChinese. Stop having a persecution complex.

Well life sucks. And it sucks even more of you if you are in South East Asia. Deal with it and man up (or wo-man up). There is nothing you can change about it.

Oh, only Singapore? Tell me again about the situation in China itself. Try to Google "ministryoftofu", which is a good start

me no understand chai-neeze! parlevouzanglais?
i'm unsure if such action is te best way forward. if the government takes this case "seriously" i'm sure a lot of chinese bus drivers will be detained at whitley road.
or something like that.
the "same position but not same salary" argument is useless. it happens all over the world.

From all the local (past)national groups I had to deal with so far I so much more prefer to work with native, not naturalized Singaporeans than people coming from main land China. Should I go on?

just tell them. you want to work (at current wage) or you want to pi$$ off back to motherland china?
take your pick. no point reasoning with them because like most humans, once you show weakness, they will take advantage.
