Public Garage Sales (Car boot style)

Post by snowqueen » Sat, 17 Nov 2012 2:02 pm

Does anyone know if there is anywhere that does regular car boot/public yard sales?

My previous condo used to have them every other month but now that I have moved I am not allowed to sell there and my new place does not have them at all so I was wondering if there is somewhere people can go on a weekend and sell their things.

You mean the car park for the former big splash? The Big Splash has been closed for over 5 years?

Yes it's been closed for sometime but it's still known as Big Splash

And right on their website.... dates of their "carboot sales":

Interesting, if I saw someone selling something out of their car boot, I'd assume it was all hot goods. Especially in Singapore where a car costs so much I wouldn't imagine a legit car owner selling second hand goods in a car park :)

Great, thanks for the tip. Can't believe I didn't know about this after living on the east coast for the last 4 years. Will have a look into it. Thanks.
