Just got off the phone with my cousin in Baltimore. Somehow, the farm on the eastern shore of Maryland (just south of Jersey and south of the eye) didn't get flooded (the property was under water but not high enough to flood the houses. So, for us, it's not a repeat of Hurricane Isabelle! Whew! Breathing a BIG sigh of relief!

no gas, traffic madness, water supply problems, diesel spills... the list goes on.
