EP Timeline and change of job

Post by athard » Mon, 29 Oct 2012 9:22 pm

Hi,

I am on an EP which is up for renewal in August 2013. However, I just got another job offer. If I accept it, will the new EP be for another 2 years or is it an extension of the one I have currently?

Your current EP would need to be cancelled and a new EP would be applied for by the prospective new employer. The duration of the new EP (if approved) could be a few months, a year or two years; it seems to vary quite a lot, going by what others have posted on the forum in the past.
Be careful what you wish for
