Considering your qualifications are under utilized and your husband can work from anywhere really I would look for a better job elsewhere and leave Singapore.Science1 wrote:Hi All,
Planning to apply for PR in SG. Would like to seek your opinion in obtaining PR status here in SG for self and spouse.
I am 31 year old Indian Female. M.S (Electronics Engg.) from NTU and PhD (solar cells/clean energy) from NUS. Staying in SG since 2006. Now working as Researcher in NTU for last 1.5 years. Q pass with salary 4.5K per month.
Married for 6 years now. No children yet. Although spouse is on DP here but his work profile keeps him overseas for 6-7 months a year on ship. His salary 9K per month.
Plz advice.
Thanks
Doctor has high chance of getting PR, Singapore is short of medical professionals and they are trying hard to attract oversea doctors here so I would say may get PR or citizenship very fast. But please do not abuse the system and move to US after getting your PR, enough has been done to damage Indian migrants reputation everywhere, if they keep seeing people abusing the system, they may completely stop granting Indian PR or citizenship and that is very bad for others.greymatter wrote:Hi all,

wife:

I stumbled into another expat forum (but for several countries. Most posts were by Indians and Pakistanis asking how to get certifications and stuff so they can migrate.offshoreoildude wrote:There's no way of stopping them....lolipop99 wrote: But please do not abuse the system and move to US after getting your PR, enough has been done to damage Indian migrants reputation everywhere, if they keep seeing people abusing the system, they may completely stop granting Indian PR or citizenship and that is very bad for others.
