Hi guys I'm Vanessa, I'm majored in Business Administration , graduated from a Canadian school, got a diploma degree, I have 2 years experience in office work and used to work as manager assisistant for over 1 year, I have a plan to travel to Singapore for a job...I would like to ask everyone that "Is it possible for me to find a job in 2 months"? If yes, which recruiting agencies/ jobs agency should I contact, or maybe any of you know any good jobs available now? Is it possible for me to get a visa for working? I expect Salary shall be from 1500 SGD... :???: :D

My email is [email protected].

Thanks everyone and wish you guys a very nice weekend! :)

Hi Vanessa,

I think a useful benchmark is to keep in mind that to get a job in SG the employer needs to demonstrate to MoM that you as a foreigner, have skills that are not available readily from the locals. You know, your specialist or niche skills.

IMO that is the right frame of mind, the right starting point, with which to be considering your plan.

But to be brutally honest, if you're seeking just S$1500pcm what 'rare talents' can you have? Therein lies your challenge.

Good luck!

Thank you so much for your quick reply! It's really helpful for me, I'll read more about IMO to get more information. The only skill that I'm not sure it's rare that I possess is I can speak Vietnamese and English fluently, I'm trying to learn Mandarin. If you have time, please let me know more about the Internship program, I'm not expecting a high salary to start working since for me, getting the experience with a Singapore company is the priority. Many thanks and wish you a wonderful Sunday!

I'm sorry to say that I know nil about this 'Internship program' that you mention, i.e. I don't even know what it might be. Perhaps you'll have more luck Googling it?
