Just wanted to alert anybody out there who's interested that the government is conducting a public consultation on the subject of animal welfare laws:

Most expats I know agree that Singapore's animal welfare regulations are somewhere between "lacking" and "ridiculously backwards." This is probably the only chance anybody will get to express those views to those who can change the law, so please take a moment to fill out the questionnaire. I found the questions surprisingly insightful.
