Malaysian looking to get out of the house more

Post by danielczh » Tue, 11 Sep 2012 10:05 am

Hi all,

32M from Kuala Lumpur. Been in Singapore for about 18 months now, but only just discovered this forum.

It would be great to make new friends here in Singapore, especially with similar interests. My likes would include: Photography > Gaming > Karaoke > Drinking (who doesn't?)

Ah, photography. Perhaps you have an account in flickr or DeviantArt? May be we can start to "communicate" from there :D

Hardly post in Flickr or DeviantArt. Mostly share through Facebook, although the resolution once uploaded to FB is less-than-ideal.

Are you allowed to share/link photos in this forum?

Not sure if FB is allowed
I could make "a link" of a picture from DeviantArt in this forum, since DA is kind of "clean" site.

This site does not host images. You can upload it to a third party site then post the URL here through image tags.

FWIW, Google+ has vibrant photography communities.

Ah, nice photos. Singapore has a lot of good places too.
I think I'll wait until moon cake festivals :D

Thanks!

I need to get out more to photograph Singapore. I guess it's the case of always being here, thus the procrastinating.

I'm saving my visit to the zoo until I get a like a 70-200mm. :)

Ah, 500D fellow. Same here. My 15-35mm is "half-dead", so I stick with 50mm. I'll post some good places/events for next week. I don't have any good photos yet, but sometimes, I post one or two photos in DeviantArt

Nice photos too. Very abstract.

I have a the 50mm f1.8. Nice bokeh, but i prefer the flexibility of a zoom over a prime mostly still.
