I rated you late 20s/ early 30s; 25 is not that bad yet :P

I find that I tend to use the phrase "can" and "can lah" when traveling and trying to communicate with the locals - and then I remember I'm not in Asia - Duh!

mix of both. some of the younger gen locals who grew up speaking mandarin, go to NS for a couple of years, and think that constantly throwing out KNN is cool.

then you have the foreigners who think they've become all local just because they can swear in a local dialect. :roll: :roll:

ive always said, if you want to speak a language (mother tongue or otherwise) learn it properly.

To siao (mad), borliao (boring), jiat jiat jiat (eat x 3)... :O
