Go back and read the forum thread from the day/next it happened.

You'll find what you want there.

Go for your life on Asia1 and check out the photos . . . Yes, the dickhead drove anywhere between 140 and 200 km/ and burned at least one red light.

I think it is safe to assume that he was speeding . . .

Feck me, I really think you might be about as pedantic as I am :)

I said 'Neither did any of the the articles I read on it mention the drivers speed.'

That's because:-
- at the time of writing none of the articles I'd read on it had mentioned the drivers speed.
- when the story was breaking - i.e. that day/next - I don't recall anyone mentioning the drivers speed.
- infer all you like, based on his car, his nationality but 'Neither did any of the the articles I read on it mention the drivers speed'.
- Publish all the articles now that you like but 'Neither did any of the the articles I read on it mention the drivers speed'.

Both of you ought to get a room. Neither are reading each others posts at all as far as I can see.

JR8 said "I hadn't realised that having such a car in itself makes one drive fast. Neither did any of the the articles I read on it mention the drivers speed."

Which is not saying he wasn't speeding, but they didn't mention HOW FAST THE CAR WAS GOING. In fact, in all the news reports all said that the police didn't give an estimate on the speed other than the fact that he was speeding.

V. your reply assumed JR8 indicated that no mention was made of the car speeding. It was, but just not HOW FAST. And you kept going on and on and like the energizer bunny, because you misread JR8's initial post.

JR8, you misread Vaucluse's post: "So, still no articles that don't mention speed . . . the search continues"

They all mention speeding but none mentions HOW FAST.

Like watching Abbott & Costello. Anybody else want some popcorn?

SOME PEOPLE TRY TO TURN BACK THEIR ODOMETERS. NOT ME. I WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW WHY I LOOK THIS WAY. I'VE TRAVELED A LONG WAY, AND SOME OF THE ROADS WEREN'T PAVED. ~ Will Rogers

I'd make the better Energizer Bunny as I am thicker and longer, and my teeth are better too.

p.s. since you [SMS] have more posts in the thread than anyone else I take it that you're being ironic.

Edit: for clarity

Difficult to be schmoozed when accompanied by kids and wife . . .

. . . and I find I look better now than ever before, so the hansum man moniker stays and I believe the urchins
