Definitely a superb example of a gigantic eyesore if you ask me. (I know, you didn't ask - see some things are free after all) :-)

But if they come up with something of this magnitude, I'll be seriously impressed: http://youtu.be/1H_m8vPBC2U?t=1m2s

The city-state needs to keep pumping . . . it has little else to lure tourists.

Come to Boleh-Land to see billions thrown at ridiculous projects to show the superiority of the Malay rulers.

Singapore? Pffft . . . amateurs in public spending

If they stopped cutting down indigenous trees and replacing grass with concrete this eyesore would be completely unnecessary. Mind you it does have equally absurd bedfellows - MBS / Art Science etc.

Who uses Latin regularly outside of the Catholic church and Latin language classrooms?

...and speaking of usage, it's like pedestrian overpasses built 10 meters away from a pedestrian crossings, that traffic light near the museum and Bras Basah MRT (the street where you can cross with 3 big steps)...

I can't recall how long I had to learn it for. I do find it useful, even sub-consciously, in understanding the meaning of words in English and other European languages.

Talking about absurd buildings I recently passed SoTA in it's fully completed state. Good grief, talk about ridiculous and architecturally clichéd. I reckon they'll be looking to pull it down in a decade or so...
