YES!
It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

I don't reckon I can come on the Mandarin learning rendezvous this week sorry. Heaps of errands to do
But I might be able to make it for a movie on Sunday, esp. Kingdom of Heaven. Might see it alone even if nobody sets up any rendezvous and I would like to try going to a cinema alone. Haven't done that ever even though I travelled in Europe alone before, funny...

Hey Kimi,
I'd be up for seeing it on Sunday with you. I know what you mean about going to the cinema alone I've never done it either. PM me and maybe we can meet up.
Cheers,
Fohls

I've not been to any cinemas in Singapore yet, there's one not far from where I live at Bugis but if anyone has a better suggestion i'm open to it as Bugis only has a 12.30pm showing on Sunday

Does one need to undergo covid screening or checks before going to the cinema?

No, that part is different - the only advertising (if you can call it that) is at most 2-3 coming attractions, i.e. new movies that will be released...

LOL is this for real? And they wonder why we don't take the local art scene seriously.

One of my favorite movies; Offices Space :) This is a 1999 movie about an IT guy who hates his job. It is a an awesome concept, just feels dated now....

I'd like to see a remake of hairspray or singin in the rain, though maybe part of the charm is the fact that they have the 50s/80s looks to them.
