Water Management what areas and skill are useful?

I plan on getting a degree in water management and working for a water company.

What areas are needed? Office staff, laborers, scientists, managers?

I want to make sure I learn the right skills.

Why water management? and why if they are in demand now do you think they'll be in demand in 4 years+ when you are graduated?

Singapore are keen on water management, if you are really interested in that then look at PUB webpage, they may hold some details of what they currently need, but as this is a Government agency, it is likely that they will employ foreigners as a last resort, i.e. they don't have the skills in country. If this is the case then a fresh grad probably wont be a huge draw for them.

Anyway, why all these questions all of a sudden, you want Citizenship, an HDB and a job as a water specialist? Have you just read about Singapore or something?

Singapore is a top world player in water resources. It is building expertise in order to become independent of water supplies in Malaysia, due to expire in 2025. Singapore offers its water consulting services to lots of countries, including states in the southwest US.

You'll want to get a degree in environmental engineering. Focus on water remediation... industrial clean up and pollution control. Learn about water reclamation technologies. Learn how to run projects. Get hired by a US firm for a few years, then apply to come to Singapore.

Sounds like he's dreaming if you ask me. He runs the gamut from Office staff to Scientists "just so he learns the right skills".

He also might have a slight problem getting a job in the US without experience as a Citizen of the UK. (not all have multiple passports)
