Sunday Brunch Club offshoot: Margaritas this Friday (Feb 3)

Post by SGslinger » Mon, 30 Jan 2012 5:47 pm

As decided at the last Sunday Brunch Club meeting, at we're drinking margaritas this Friday, Feb 3.

The venue is Cafe Iguana at Riverside Point, Clark Quay. Map here: http://maps.google.com.sg/maps/place?q= ... 2437842077

We'll meet at 9PM. Drink specials (i.e. margaritas below $10) start at 11PM, so feel free to swing by whenever. Drink specials here: http://www.cafeiguana.com/tequila/Half% ... motion.pdf

Who's in? I know QB and Poc4hontas are.

RSVP in this thread, so I know roughly how many people are coming. In case you need clarifications, text me at 8152 7329.

Bring your friends! See you there!

Nice. Now that the awesome twosome have confirmed, this party is so, so on, it's pretty close to being like Donkey Kong.

I must say I'm most disappointed. Why aren't there a million emails here on the lines of "That sounds like a great idea! When is the next event? Please let me know at [email protected]!" ?

Haha yeah I know. I was just making fun of the fact that people post a lot of messages on old threads asking to be notified of the next event, but rarely ever show up.

Because it is easier to do that, than to actually show up - or to initiate an actual event.

The "Any Singles?" thread would usually have an attendance of 30% of the people who said they were coming.

Now it's dead.

Has to agree with SGslinger though..Some of us here are making an effort to initiate events, but yes it does come with a disappointment when some people are just being NATO ( No Action Talk Only )

And Lynx, welcome back !!!
