If they told you to apply in 6 months time then do that, unless you do not understand English and need me to translate in Malay or Mandarin or Arabic

That is actually a good news. It means they still want you but you're applying too early that time. (Because the worst letter would be saying that you're only welcome to stay for the remainder of your EP, that's all, which is pretty much the end to most rejected applicants here).

So follow the advice and submit 6 months from the date of the letter.

Good luck :)

ICA appointment is full till early December 2012.

Are there any quota since its year end ?

Probably but none of us know.

You may wish to check the appointment booking frequently, as at times there are people who may cancel the appointment and the slots will be available.

I have seen this before. Example : 3-4 days from today's date, you may have vacant slots suddenly because, some one has cancelled.

But you must have your application ready, if you want to submit it immediately in one of those slots.

Good Luck !

They can only accommodate a certain number of applications each day, if it is not available means not available, too many people are applying you know! But if someone cancels his appointment, the spot will be available immediately, so you can check later in the system
