But during that time is my menstrual period, don't know can still go ahead or not....

You can get hormone pills from GP to delay menses like a week before you go? say you're going to travel they should understand.

Aside from how it turns out, I have a big issue. Do everybody wake up halfway through their surgery?!

Actually I am only interested to undergo Epi & Incision Dbl Eye and LA is normally given However if possible I would like to opt for the snooze.

Another thing I notice is that most girls opt for parallel eyelids, is it possible for me to achieve wider tapered eyelids w incision? Is it necessary or stitching would be good enough? Do share your experience! Thank you (:

it is ok to have menses during plastic surgery, if i am not wrong, you are going to do your eyes right? It's just a short and minor surgery around 1-2 hours only, unless you are doing lipo around the thigh area, then maybe it's not so convenient to go during menstrual period. You can google around and most surgeons will say it is fine to go ahead with it as there is mimimal blood less with exception of lipo.

If you are really uncomfortable with it, you can do like what louisa said, but instead of delaying your menses, bring forward your menses, so by the time you go for surgery, you do not have to take any drugs. However, i think that going to the doctor is unnecessary.

Oops, I didn't check that you were going for epi and eyelid surgery! In that case I think it's okay if you're having your menses. I had thigh, calves lipo recently, and was recommended to take the pills should the date coincide with my menstrual period.

Hi, to those going to Dr Chi for surgery -- is it Hatyai or Phuket ? Are prices the same for both locations ?

Anyone with experience with him for lipo ? Is he more conservative or radical with fat removal ?

Hey louisa, with regards to your qns, dr chi is based in hatyai during weekends. I'm guessing e prices should be cheaper because he works in a hospital in phuket. So maybe it's not up to him to decide the prices over there. I'm think he does lipo too, from what I remember while reading the past threads, but the compression garments he sell are rather pricey. Maybe you can email him for more details. Hope this helps:)

I'd like to know what is the height increment (in mm) in ur nose bridge and tip for ur nasal silicone implant? Did u have extra cartilage layered in ur tip? Is there a limit to the height of the implant that'll predispose a patient to extrusion and other complications like shifting and infection? I've heard the optimum lies between 4-6mm, or is it still very individualised among the asian population?

Are u familiar with the chin implant sizes? Too big a chin implant can lead to dental root extrusion or compression of the nerves?

hmmmm, i din measure actually, it was my first PS, and I had no idea what to ask. i had absolutelt no bridge previously, now it's abt 2-3mm high i estimate. Nope, no cartilage done to the tip. It's L-shape implant, so it will extend the tip already.

i dun think the height is the part that causes extrusion, more of how much the tip is extended. People with absolutely no tip might have more problem, cos their skin will be stretched more, and overstretching might cause extrusion

chin implants i revised when i did jaw implants, cos need to fit the new proportions. chin implants come in various sizes, mine din really have to choose cos it had to fit my jaw implants

my nose was done in dec 2006, my chin was last revised in dec 2008. no problems do far

it's basically same as normal rhino if urs was closed rhino. he just removes current implant, then carves and inserts new implant

do you think dr nara is good with natural noses? have you heard of him doing revision rhino? i have booked appointment with him to do revision rhinoplasty in january.. wonder if i should go ahead.. heard his noses are very natural is it true

i would say his noses are natural... no one ever told me mine looks fake, but they do say it looks nice.

but ppl looking for a very dramatic change might be disappointed, sometimes dramatic and natural are mutually exclusive

i think hes a kind doctor but i hope that my swelling goes down and i can see my six pack

hes frank with me about the possibility ( or not ) of having a six pack..
