Now that's rock 'n roll! :)
Ah, Dickinson... His voice. It really hard to find such voice that has just the right raspy-ness to last without even cracking over time...

Haha karaoke? You've got to be joking :P

By the way, with all that love you have for music, do you happen to play music too?

No no I'm entirely serious :) I cannot stand public karaoke but get a group of friends together and go and get a K-box in the mall on the basement floor, on the right as you walk down to the end of Cuppage. Loadsafun!

I can't claim to be a musician, no. I think it's more that I was born at the right time, and lived in the right places to get exposed to a huge range of live music...

Oh that sounded like a decent K-box. Where is that?

I've tried few places in Marina Square, Vivo City and even in AMK. They have great range of Chinese songs with superb MV (too bad I don't sing Chinese songs).

Sadly when it comes to English songs (especially anything out of the current range of popular pop and R&B songs), they don't fare that well. Even the MVs for some English songs are something to cry over

Here, I describe it in this thread.

p.s. I don't recall the MVs as being memorable, don't even recall what they are now!

Oh yeah K-Box is the name itself! I never thought of it because we used to abbreviate karaoke box as k-box... Haha!

Oh it works fine! I know which karaoke places you're talking about. Turned out those are the ones I mentioned earlier I'd been to (just that it was a shame I didn't make an effort to remember the name).

Just came across this earlier today and it is cracking. 49 minutes of HD (?), or at least highest quality 'live studio' set.

Old school RnR!

YEAH BABY!

For talents like Dave Grohl in Foo Fighters, great music still lives on post-Kurt Cobain...

I only twigged today that that is a studio-live version (it's the band's custom built studio) of their entire latest album, track by track.

It's a gem, been through 3-4 loops already here and will be getting more! Enjoy.
