If you are willing to work for peanuts, maybe.

A dime a dozen jobs here. What salary are you looking at? On average restaurants here pay $1000-1400 a month.

Don't want to burst your bubble, but this is Singapore, not HK.

SMS: he said "restaurant" like the French ones, and the like ..

poor me and you forget that there are FnB staff getting paid so heavy they have trouble spending money .. (or did I too smoke something like the OP ??? )

apple&dog:

For service crew, pay is very low, and even those on S pass are bypassing the pay scale through some innovative pay system, and ending up with 1,200 or so is wonderful .. mostly, it is much less

Of course, if you are a manager / chef or repute / or crew chief you would be able to get more .. (or you would have known the going rates)

What's your speciality by the way ?

I also did an internship in a tug-ship, does it make me a sailor ? :D

I did a stint with some flying things, does it make me a pilot ?? :D :D

well, you are not giving anything strong to help ..

Are you a wine specialist ? Or chef ? or waiter ? or plain intern ???

the days of starting in Singapore with nothing are long gone.
