Singapore Pub Crawl

Post by Zico » Tue, 04 Oct 2011 8:35 pm

Hola everyone,

I just came back from Canada last week and I need to unwind in sunny Singapore.

Let's do a pub crawl! Any takers?

Cheers,
Morgan

Zico, please do not spam the board. We lock accounts of those who spam identical messages across multiple threads. Especially when it appears to be an advertisement........

Definitely not an advertisement. Was just trying to get a head count from all the forums. Rest assured. :)

I should have said 'atleast 200 $ or much more ' :D :D

Now I stick to watering myself down in one place .. and buying in 'bulk' (a-la jugs .. than by mugs or glasses .. )

Hmmm, I could probably stretch $200 farther by skipping the crawl.

Ok, where's a good, fun pub, preferably near the MRT.

define "FUN" ? :D :D

My kind of fun may not be your kind of fun, but I get beer at 6$ till 10 PM, and jug at 23 $ :D :D

Oh .. the place I know does have 'crazy hour' offer at 5 $ a mug before 6 PM :D :D

Fun is defined by the moment.
I'm that flexible with the definition but the mug/jug prices sound damn good.

hmmm..

mayb, its not a good idea. $200 is way above my budget.. I could use that money for something else..

I checked with these guys, and they offer pretty gd deals. $30 for 5 bars and free entry to a club. Free shooters at each stop and special bar deals. Anyways, crawls are a great way to meet new people and have a fun at the same time.
Unless, you are not into this kind of fun and then it's a different story.

Well, I might go for it with a couples of my roommates and their girlies..
I''ve been many crawls around the world and it's great fun.

cheers :)

ok, I dunno who offered the 30 $ for 5 bars, and one club, but, does it include the 'poison' ?? :)

I used to do this .. and i have slowed down a lot..

It is great fun, in Philippines, and Malaysia, for me .. but with Singapore prices .. no .. thanks :D :D

PS: if you are paying 30 $ only for entry to 5 bars - most bars here have free entry, and most clubs have fee entry before 9 or so ..

PS: I forgot that you are recommending the facebook group :) :) no worries ... affiliated to 'em ?

Yeah, it's starting to sound more and more like an advertisement.....
Probably innocent enough though....

Let's put it this way, if you were a regular with 50 or 70 posts or more and you had made the recommendation, we probably wouldn't have given it a thought unless it was totally obvious. But here's a guy who makes 3 posts and then comes back theoretically from canada and make 5 identical posts about a page on facebook that is being doing by an organizer who could well be himself, considering how much information and knowledge he has about an event he's never been to.......

What would it smell like to you? Yeah, we got the same pong. If we aren't hard on this type of 'stuff', then every tom, dick & harry will try to plug their own blog, facebook page, website, whathaveyou. Then the board become filled with garbage and eventually we loose eyeball hits because what we do here is hidden among all the garbage posts. Try looking at it from our POV and our hosts POV. This site is provided free at the hosts personal cost, we try our best to keep it clean & readable.

One other thing. The average reader here reads more than one thread, therefore they get pretty sick & tired of reading the same post in every thread that they open. Do you come on here and only read a single thread or a single forum on this board?
