Query regarding LPR

Post by charisgee » Sat, 24 Sep 2011 10:54 pm

Hi,

I have applied for LPR in May 2011, I would like to how much time it is taking now to get a LPR. I have applied for me and my family (wife & Kid). I am a DBA working for an IT company in India with 8.5 years IT experience. I have a masters degree in Computers.

Thank you.

Good luck. I understand that the program was shut down w.e.f. 30 June 2011 with only those that had been filed around a year earlier (there was around a 14 month backlog) getting approvals. What the current scenario is I don't know, but I wouldn't bet a slug nickle on you having any success, regardless of what the agent who ripped you off in India might have told you. You money is long gone.

We could have guessed you had a masters...... :-|
