* as a regular, I contribute whatever knowledge I can, when I can, engage with the community and point out when people "lose their way."
* while things are run somewhat loosely here, the community does a fine job of policing itself and even self-correcting on times when things go awry.
* you're welcome to express yourself here but you have to take the bad along with good. If people will applaud you, they can also criticize you even if you won't like it.

Bea, I am on the east coast, and looking to make new friends as well. I've been here for about 3 months, and am fairly familiar with the city, so I would love to get out. Believe me Saturdays get to be pretty long and boring when you don't know many people!

Which part of Spain are you from? I lived in Madrid for 6 month when I was working in Sports Journalism there. Although my Spanish is still rubbish! ha..
