Hi amy,

Welcome to singapore....
No need to bring winter clothes since its never cold here....and since its quiet humid, cotton wud be the best option.

Wish u a great start
Keep Rocking !

Hey Amy, moved here to Singapore from England myself a couple of weeks ago. Fantastic place and probably closest to home in terms of being westernised.

Anyway I came out here for work too, and would be happy to meet for a drink or two when you're here. Also plenty of opportunities for sport, especially swimming or tennis from what I've seen so far.

Drop me a shout [email protected]

Happy packing etc! ha

Congrats on your new job. You can try searching in the vicinity of your work for a flat and that may narrow down your search!

In Singapore, there are many places for rent but choosing the right one and the right landlord is not easy. Good luck with your hunt, I'm sure the forums can be of great use to you! Feel free to PM if you need any help, I understand how frustrating it can be in a foreign country with little to no help at all. Good luck Amy.
