Thanks for adding me, sorry I haven't been by the forum in a while.

I'm supposed to be on leave much of August but that may change, when you fix a date I'll just try and come along, not too fussed about the place or beer etc.

I'm in (thanks x9200) and Friday, 19th, works well for me. Venue and time - I'm easy - just as long as there is cold beer and good banter.....

10+ so far. Thanks x9200 for sending out the PM for me this avro. I made it to the NDP on time and must say it was well worth it. Apparently me & the missus' mugs were on the telly as well at one point. Pal saw it and sent me a PM inquiring a little while ago.

I think the same venue is good unless someone haves something central that's better, but I'm quite okay there.

Us? Make fun of somebody? :o Now would we do that? Nah! Not unless given half a chance!

Somebody else thought it stood for a spelling mistake for our beloved O/T (most would think that was OverTime but in a way it is as it's Orchard Towers. Defo overtime! )

Sure would have liked for you to be able to attend though.

Well we still haven't booked our tickets to Thailand so there's some hope. I'd like to come, as I have a sneaking suspicion my time left in sg is down to a couple of weeks. DH (darling husband ;-) ) issued an ultimatum last night, and I'm due to go home on holiday with our son on the 29th of Aug. If it hits the fan while I'm gone, I doubt I'll be back. Not much point in putting both of us through another 24+ hrs air travel just to pack up boxes, turn around and do it again. As crazy as his job has been lately* (and I know I previously said he'd be putting in his notice-he didn't) DH really wants to be able to see this project through. Sometimes you just have to be willing to walk away...

On another topic: anybody here ever lived in Macau??

*from start to finish

I believe Maneo might have, but I'm not sure if it was Macau or Shanghai (I know, big difference). Might do a search on his nick to see if his earlier posts note which. I'm pretty sure he was somewhere in China before coming here.

Oops! My bad, I just went and had a check. He was in Shanghai.
