Looking to do something fun and interesting...

Post by cathy_r » Wed, 29 Jun 2011 7:54 pm

I've been here in Singapore for a week now and I haven't started with my work...so before my busy life begins again, I'd like to do something fun and interesting. I don't want to just stay at home or go the malls all by myself... Any suggestions?

Take up scuba diving. The best diving in the world is right on your doorstep.

But after something like Sipidan you have to do a factory reset on expectations.

Lucky you - all we have is the River Mersey running through Manchester. Usually reserved for Police Divers fishing out drugs or bodies!!

Sorry OP. I'll stop hijacking.

You could try Singapore zoo or the night safari, Universal Studios, Sentosa or an evening in the Casino. Or even venture out to the east coast and try the seafood centre. Also check out Chinatown.

OP needs to give more clarity on what might interest her. Sports, Food and Bev, hanging out with tranny make-up artists.

eat at hawker centers coast to coast...but walk so you'd burn all that food.

I like the idea but that's not an option right now. Have to stay here in Singapore and wait for further instructions from my boss.
