Hi guys!

This is the second day after my double eyelids + epi with Dr Nara. Getting quite used to the constant tearing and mucus-y eyes and my vision is slightly better today than it was yesterday. Surprisingly, it doesn't really hurt so yay for me!

This is how my eyes look like now. Omg mad swollen and ugly! The stitches on the right don't look as nice as that of my left eye but hopefully it's okay!

Which Month and date are you heading to Dr Chi?
I will be going to Dr Chi on Beginning of Nov for Liposuction. Same time I am looking for travel mates.

I will be booking Golden Crown Hotel.

Hopefully I can find someone to go Dr Chi for Liposuction.

Thanks

May i know how much does Dr Chi charge for these 2 procedures? If i do buccal fat removal, hows the downtime and swelling? Will it be very bad and obvious? Any scars left on the face?

I was thinking can i still do jawline botox after buccal fat removal?

Appreciate a lot if anyone who has done it with Dr Chi can advice and share your experience with me?

Another thing is how do i get to Dr chi's clinic from the airport? The map is all in Thai words..
thanks alot
jobel, i did liposuction a week ago with Dr Chi, on my thighs. he sells compression garments but for $300 EACH!!! so i suggest you get one here instead. he didnt draw out a lot IMO (maybe cos i didnt tell him anything or how i slimmer i wanted to be) but i think he aims for the natural look if you dont specify clearly.

schnauzie, there are some airport staff outside the airport whom you can approach. they will give you a minivan ticket for 80 baht. the minivan carries about 8 passengers to their respective hotels (they will ask collectively and make a list) so REALLY not to worry. :) they know their way around for sure.

Hi Kobel,

Thanks for the advice. I have already booked an appt to see Dr Chi for liposuction and buccal fat removal next week. Before that i will see Dr Nara for jawline botox.

So can i just tell the the airport staff wangnoi hotel? I couldnt find this in the map, but i guess i can tell them golden crown hotel and search around the area.

FYI: I bought Nelsons Arnica from Great world city watsons. This brand is only sold in that outlet. Not all watsons have it, i asked around many branches and they referred me there.

$24.90 for 30c arnica montana.

Dr Chi sells compression garments for S$300+. Exp. You should go to makemeheal.com or sth to get them.

Sinecch - get from Rachel at $58 ea. Some aesthetic clinics in SG sell them for $80 ea. Not sure if Hatyai has them, but Dr Chi provides his own anti-swelling medicine (free, abt a week's supply, after your op).

Yes, tell the airport staff in charge of airport minivan service that u wanna go wangnoi hotel. They should know. Otherwise, it's a street from Golden Crown hotel. It has a maroon exterior + glass walls etc.

Liposuction with Dr Nara

Post by jobel1982 » Sun, 26 Jun 2011 1:16 pm

Hi Everyone,

I had lipo with Dr Nara on my tummy and Love handle. During the first night, while heading to the surgery room..the nurses and Dr Nara laughing and smiling saying to me R u pregnant. What a joke! If i am pregnant why should I go liposuction. Am I taking my risk to kill my child.. because i know i had to go for lipo because people thought I am :???: After the first night of surgery, i couldnt feel the pain till the anesthesia is over. It is really really painful because of the hard muscles i had. Imagine you walk like an old lady. So terrible.

Second day is love handle, it wasnt painful at all. It is so difficult to sleep because you cant sleep with both sitches on left and right. i had difficulties falling asleep. Though the painkillers stop the pain on my tummy i fell asleep end up pressing on my right side stiches of the love handle. The bed is full of blood stain that woke me up.

Next day, the housekeeping person face is super black. BTW i stay in New season hotel. The services is so lousy, food not much varitey as breaskfast is only fried bee hoon, fried kway teow, egg, ham, bread. hotdog that all. Rates i give them 2-3 star. I dont advise people to go to new season hotel unless you need budget.

That all for my info. :) wishing everyone who went for surgery, all the best of recovery.

cheers

quick update after my lipo!

it has been 2 weeks ONLY after my thigh lipo with Dr Chi and I can already see significant results. maybe cause i have been religiously wearing my compression garments 24/7 (srsly wear long pants/dresses strictly everytime i go out) and elevating my legs when i sleep. my inner thighs no longer rub against each other when i walk. haha.
