Yeah, Me an Ozzie

I had all the front and sides with white mold wrap plastic from Johnson Tint. So it is scratch proof , well. almost. It is easy to clean and especially after off road during the holidays

But I lived in Sweden , my daughters lived in Melbourne with the wife for now

Now in Christchurch with CERA doing small work

Ford Territory, well , too many breakdown. The radiators always got heated up easily.

Not good. We had another aftershock yesterday 5.3
Last Monday Earthquake was 6.3, followed by 5.5 aftershock. 40 aftershocks alone on that night alone

I came down in end Jan. Then we had the Feb EQ. Restoration work were beginning then this one came. I really do not know where to start or begin
A few suburbs will be deem inhabitable.
We collected in excess of 200 tons of silts !

Hey MS, what are silts? (it means small herring in Norwegian, maybe you know that given your Swedish links).

Sounds pretty rough down there. Best of luck eh!

I only came here because there was some works for me and Rugby World Cup is around the corner. I played footie and I got some free tickets to the games.

Hmmmm.... Silts is like kinda sands. It came up after the shake from the ground together with the black water . We call it Liquefaction. Once the water receded, you have this black yuckie, gooey sand everywhere. It is like mud but more refine in nature.
If you have been to Salt Lake Water Race track where they do those speed race, the texture is more like that but this is black not white.

Ok I got you. Didn't realise that water/silt was going to be an issue in CCH

The Rocket III (Triumph). +2l displacement. Almost new (2010) and the price I found surprisingly low (to my expectations) - $S 30k.

BMW 535im (An old E34, nice car but tempermental!)
Marcos Mantis (Had the use of this while a mate was overseas!)
Lotus Elise Sport 190 ( :D )
MG TF (The Elise just wasn't the most ideal every day car!)
Landrover Freelander
Mitsubishi EX 2.0 (Current car and slightly modified)
