hey all, i had my surgery like 2 weeks ago. lol
i did epi+dbl eyelid also alar+rhino
dr chi was very nice and i can say i dont feel any pain. on the first week my face was dead swollen and right after sugery i went shopping and people are like scared.
my face was badly swollen and until now i still have bruising around my eyes, nose and my left cheek. dr said i have a very bad face tissue and since i didn't really lay low and went shopping everyday,my face is still horrible!
my nose is great, really love it. it's smaller and higher.
my eyes i dont really like since my eyelid is still high and thick. but i guess it'll turn out normal soon.
i just hope my bruising will disappear cuz it's an ugly yellow bruise.
hope i would look normal soon! lol

Sorry I cannot PM you as I don't have enough posts. I will be seeing Dr Chi on the 12th July for Buccal fat pad removal, and then Dr Nara on 13th July for Rhinoplasty and Alar Base.

So I'll be there till the 22nd July. Staying in Novotel hotel, it's arguably the best hotel in Hatyai. Cause I'm travelling alone, I want to be as comfortable as possible since got to recuperate from surgeries. ^^

Would you like to join me?

Hi guys I am back from Hatyai. Had eyebag removal, rhino+alar and thigh lipo with Dr Chi. Bought compression garment from Dr Chi for 7000 baht and Sinecch from Rachel (96371571). Rachel supplies Sinecch to surgeons and she’s pretty knowledgeable in the field of PS. She claims that she has once been invited to witness a rhinoplasty procedure so you can ask her about PS.

Day 1

Hatyai (HDY) time is 1h earlier than Singapore time. Arrived at HDY at 1.05pm local time. Most forumers said they took a cab to their hotel but i couldn’t find any except for airport limousine service, which costs 80 baht. It’s actually a mini van/bus which stops everyone at their respective hotels.

Arrived at Wangnoi hotel after a 20-30min ride. 850 baht per night, with a refundable 300 baht deposit. Exterior of hotel looks ok, but not as nice as Diamond Plaza Hotel or Novotel or Lee Gardens. But it’ll pass. :) It’s pretty small actually. The staff do not know much English but if you speak slowly they’ll understand eventually. They are very friendly.

Entered my room which is surprisingly very clean. The toilet is very modern. Soap, shampoo, hair conditioner and shower caps are provided. No toothbrush or toothpaste. Extra pillow is available in the closet, with laundry bags in there as well. Bottled mineral water is F.O.C. Apart from that, the rest of the snacks and flavored drinks are chargeable. There is a Sony TV which is huge; lots of channels (75 in total) incl. CNA, sports, Taiwan/HK dramas, Channel V, and of course local Thai channels. Room is well lit and air-conditioned. There is wifi too.

Went to Dr Chi’s at 2.30pm (was late by 30 min but he was very accomodating and said it was no issue). Do note that his clinic is Phi-Beauty Clinic a.k.a HHTC. It’s easier to spot the clinic if you recognise it by HHTC. The clinic is very clean, has 3 storeys and there was a particular nurse who was very friendly (she walked me back after the op and came to my room the next day to check on me). Dr Chi listened to me patiently during the consultation and assured me even when i had second thoughts on rhino as he said he would have to do it through the inside-mouth method (less scarring).

Op ended at around 5.30-6pm. (i did eyebag removal and rhino+alar). Throughout the surgery, i felt NO pain at all despite doing it under LA. The initial injection and what came after could not even be compared to an ant bite. I don’t think pain threshold or whatever is the problem. There was really no pain at all.

Day 2

Back at hotel and up to 24 hours later - face very swollen, so worried that something might have gone wrong. Can’t wait to see Dr Chi to see if everything is ok with my face. Can’t even smile with teeth showing. Oh and if you want to buy food but don’t know where to go (as Wangnoi isn’t close to any malls or departmental shops; not that i know of and i honestly didnt bother to explore around), you can tell the staff you what you want to eat and they will buy it for you. They even advised me not to have chicken, etc. as they knew i just had surgery. Very thoughtful!

Day 3

My thigh lipo was supposed to be yesterday at 6.30pm but Dr Chi postponed it to today morning at 9.30am. Somehow my surgeries are always delayed by 1 hour and i always had to stone in the clinic for one hour. There is wifi in the clinic though.

Consulted Dr Chi about my swollen face. He said it is normal and mine is very much less swollen compared to his other patients. WHEW! And he said it takes max. 72 hours for the swelling on my face to go down but it takes 1-2 months for me to smile normally after my rhinoplasty op. :(

About aftercare on thigh lipo: rest calf area on elevated level. wear compression garment 24/7 for 6 weeks (sian, so long. other forumers said 3 weeks only..) and after the 6 weeks, continue wearing it during the day for another 6 months. if can wear at night, also can, but daytime is sufficient. i guess i have to bear with wearing jeans/long pants/maxi skirts? someone advise me here pls? can i shorten the time??

Then we proceeded to the thigh lipo op. All i can remember from the surgery is that the injection on my thigh was very pain (i’d give it an 8/10 and i remembered i was saying AHHH) but after 4 seconds i KO-ed. I dont remember a thing when the op was over. All that happened afterwards was the nurses put on the compression garment for me and that they gladly showed me the amount of fat removed from my thighs. The op started at 11am and ended at about 1-1.30pm.

Again, the nurse escorted me back to my hotel. I immediately KO-ed on my bed and woke up at 5.30pm. IMO, sadly, i think not much fat was removed but i dont know if it’s me having high expectations and it’s normal since it’s only immediately after surgery so it might just be swelling. Hopefully i can see the results asap! Btw I find it hard to walk. When i walk, i have to squat a little. It’s also hard to pee despite the hole at the crotch area of my compression garment.

Day 4

My nose and eyes are very nice now but the swelling on my cheeks is killing me!!! It’s not pain but it’s very ugly. Haha. Surprisingly NO bruises at my eyebag area cause he did the inside method so no scars at all. :)

Still very sleepy since the lipo op.

It is now easier to walk. Went out to buy food. Didnt know where to buy so i went to 7-11. It’s about 200m away. Btw Golden Crown Hotel is like one street away from Wangnoi Hotel so you guys can consider staying there too (but i tried to make reservations through a phone call and they didnt understand English and they even hung up on me! Twice!). Not much of a diff, but Wangnoi is just closer (or closest, i should say) to Dr Chi’s clinic.

It’s Day 5 today. Everyday is pretty much the same from now... Just rest and recuperate

BTW can anyone tell me if i really have to wear the compression garment for another 6 weeks? Can it be shorter?

However, we were told by the surgeon that apart from sending in photos of our breasts, we need to send in full body pictures with our faces as well to get a more accurate consultation.

Worst part: we have to take a video of our nipples going from soft to hard!

For those who have done boob jobs overseas before, is this the standard routine and is it safe?

Hi, can some kind soul who has done BA overseas help answer my queries please? tia! :(
I did my boobs at Hatyai and have never heard of sending full pic of face and body worst videos of nipple!!! Ridiculous. I even stayed in thailand before and have lots of thai friends who did boobs and no one heard of what u've mentioned!!!!!!!

Which doc and name of the clinic?
amorn poomee from brg. he's supposed to be very good, but we really dont know if he can be trusted.

Breast and Liposuction In december

Post by jobel1982 » Wed, 15 Jun 2011 10:54 am

Hello everyone,

I am heading to Dr Nara in a weeks time for Liposuction. Not too sure how is the comments about him. it is kind of fickle-minded because after all it is still in overseas and not local surgeon, alot of comments hard to make full decision. I am sure everyone would want to look excellent and beautiful.

Anyone intend or planning to do any surgery in December with Dr Puttisak? Knowing it is too early as i have spoken to Dr Puttisak. He said it is too early to slot in my date in december. I guess i am kiasu and it seems that Dr nara is more popular as it need to book in appointment in few months time. I am looking for Travel buddy to Dr Puttisak as it is quite unsafe i guess. I heard some comments saying that his skill is still alright. Any advise and add me in msn at [email protected]

I back from hat Yai. N yet I didnt do anything except botox for my eyebag from surgery. First, I went to dr chi. He is kind and explained clear to me for the eyebags and buccal fat remover. He said that my eyebags is muscle but not fat. So it's can't remove. After that, he told me about the buccal fat as. He showed me a few photos which showed that their face for buccal fat remove will have a hole, something like over do and cause it become flatter as our normal face. So, he asked me to think carefully, and so I'm not doing any surgeries with him. Anyway who can answer me whether after buccal fat surgery might cause hole beside our face?
After consult with dr chi, I went for dr Nara. He got a few patients waiting when I'm go in. I consult again for my eyebags and face too. He is same saying that my eyebags are muscle type as well as my face. So he said botox can help only. I felt that he is rude. After he talked, I'm thinking whether want or don't want to inject Botox for my eyebags as I never heard about that before. He started to say he got patients waiting for him and look inpatient to me. Some more, he talk a bit loud and discomfort to me. My bf did think so and felt he is rude! So After a very short consideration, I say I wanna do eyebags then he told me the price which is 2500 baht and ask I lying down straight. I think he is more profit concerned more than patient safety concerned compared to dr chi! I don't feel dr Nara is a good doctor after all. Now, this was the second day I inject botox, but I still don't feel any results. Will share with u all after few days.
Hope guys who wanna do ps have more consideration before go in the surgery room. Ps is permanent and if wrong doing will leads to future regrets. And hope this information might help. Best wishes to u guys

Hi!
May I know how much does dr chi charge you for rhino+alar?
And does dr chi have a website?
How can I contact him?
I really want to do otoplasty this july/aug but dr nara is fully booked and yanhee is a little too expensive for that surgery.
I am thinking of dr chi..

Hello, can anyone tell me which doctor is renowned for tiplasty?
Are their skills good compared to Korean docs?

Thanks!
