TL;DR=Too Long; Don't Read

------
Now time for some (more) verse...

Long verse appeals to few...
Cause there's very little said that is new.
And if brevity be the soul of wit
Keeping it short would be deemed fit.
For those who fight for it, life has a flavor the sheltered will never know.

Then JR8 suddenly replyeth but not in recommended verse
And with Wind's tongue-in-cheek, witty yet lengthy reply before
Is he lurking from Deutschland so afar these threads on the lookout
While the mods with Mjolnir they strike on trolls to whom which keep score
With humor, still people view, post, reply and link all the more
...quoth the poster, "Nevermore"
"A quokka is what would happen if there was an anime about kangaroos."

Double double toil and trouble
Ye lewd pair are breaking the mold
Fire burn and cauldron bubble
Be ne'er again so bold!

When seeing a thread so odd,
One must ask, as a mod,
Is it something in the air
That creates rhymes so fair?

Will it will only be a short time?
Before someone posts a rhyme
Advertising the next MLM 'treat'
That one of us mods can delete?

Of monkeys and typewriters I speak,
Writing the words of Shakespeare complete.
Is it possible to compare
The words that our members do share?

And still as we the regulars lurk and read and post
The occasional suspect thread we do find in store
Or even the multiple spambots post propagate the threads
We may report them; knocking on a moderator's door
SMS might be absent though the banhammer he bore,
...til quoth Strong Eagle, "Nevermore"
"A quokka is what would happen if there was an anime about kangaroos."

An ad is an ad be it word or rhyme...
To a forum moderator it be nothing but grime.
Ah I guess its just a matter of time...
Before the spammers come up with some slime.

But in our Moderators we trust,
so all spammers eventually go bust.
In that spirit we continue to rhyme...
And we hope to continue for a really long time!
For those who fight for it, life has a flavor the sheltered will never know.

Darn you've gone and blown my cover
And rend askew my well laid plan
Now I must lay low and cower
And forego unveiling my new MLM
