I have decided to post this question after trying to find the closest scenario possible of my current situation in the forum , but to my best of knowledge, didn't find any. So here it goes :
Q1:
I have worked for this company for 3 months ( on EP) and I am a permanent employee. I am puzzled when I was told I need to wait 6 months before my company can help me fill up form 4A ,are there any basis for this?Have checked on ICA website , but didn't find any such requirement.
Q2 : What are my chances of getting back my REP ?
Myself
-Malaysian Chinese
-Studied in NUS ( graduated 2003 )
-Former SPR ( 2004-2009 )
-Posted overseas, still on SG payroll (2007-2008)
-worked for overseas company on overseas payroll (2008-2010)
-tried Renew REP online - rejected ( year 2009 )
- did not withdraw any CPF ( cant anyway )
- got a job on EP P1 in SG (2011)
Wife
-Bruneian Citizen Chinese
-NUS (graduated 2003 )
-No SPR
-went back Brunei
-Studied Graduate Dip in Singapore ( 2006)
- worked on EP in SG ( 2007-2009 )
- was overseas (2009)
- back in SG on EP P2 ( 2010 till now )
both:
-got married in Malaysia (since 2009 )
-decided to settle down in SG, bought a house 2011
-total household income (exclude bonus) = 13k a mth
Q3 :
Should we apply our PR independently ? or should I sponsor my wife?
