anyone have any good travel agents they can recommend? (i need to book something for a visit to HK)
there seem to be a million travel agents advertised in chinatown but i am confused as to which is a good one?

So far have yet to find a travel agent that can beat the online prices and offers.

LOL "book through an agent to take the stress out of the trip?" Have you ever tried dealing with a local agent? Wall banging stuff.

I assume they are more for people who don't have a computer or wants to pay cash for their trips.

Unless you know one as a personal friend who you can call up at 3am to sort out an emergency while on a trip, then stick with the respected on-line portals or deal direct with the airlines/hotel. If you must go with a physical agent then make sure they are registered and insurance backed.

I second that: the internet has made travel agents useless for savvy people.
