Valentine's Day 2011

Post by Kitten Heel » Wed, 19 Jan 2011 12:28 am

Sounds like there are a lot of singles here on this forum. I'm happily single but I'm just sick of being a single person on Valentine's day when the whole f*eaking world is filled with roses and heart shape stuff.

I'm keen to organise something for Valentine's Day. Hands up if you want to join me.

Well I never liked valentine day as well....how ppl try to rip you off by charging extremely high prices and why show ur love on one day but not the other 300+ days in a year.....

@Frostingz: Shall we join forces?

The funny thing is when I was single on Valentine's day, I wish I had a partner. And when I finally had a partner on Valentine's day I just couldn't stand the cheesiness of it all -- and I pity my partner at that time for having to spend a lot more on dinner & roses. In fact, I begged him that if we lasted another Valentine's day please just spend it at home.

Well. We didn't last that long. But that's OK. Being single on Valentine's is more fun. Maybe I'm just used to being an outsider.

The Plan

Post by Kitten Heel » Thu, 20 Jan 2011 10:56 pm

I don't have any solid plan yet. The thing is Valentine's day falls on Monday this year. Would people prefer to meet on the Saturday before Valentine's day or on the day itself? Let me know so I can get a consensus.

Don't make it sound so sad. You're making me depress.

I don't know about you guys but here's my plan:

* get up at 7 in the morning, get ready for the day
* go to work at around 8
* 6 pm, head back home
* exercise, dinner then relax the rest of the night away
* midnight, go to bed
